Pandora Studio was founded with the belief that artistic activities have the power to bring people together and strengthen the bonds of community.
The founders, Carla Peña, Alaia Ferran, and Imanol Casán, are professional musicians who came to The Netherlands to study at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and later made the city their home.
During the pandemic, the founders experienced firsthand the difficulties of isolation and the lack of social connections in a new country. They saw the need for spaces that could support people, particularly those who were new to the city and had not yet been able to build their social network.
With this in mind, Pandora Studio was created as a way to actively participate in the organization and promotion of cultural activities in The Hague. The project was born out of the desire to create new meeting points in the aftermath of the pandemic and to provide opportunities for people to connect through art and culture.
Pandora started as an ambitious dream, but through hard work and enthusiasm, it has become what it is today: a cultural space with an international character. It is a home that constantly reinvents itself with each new member of the community and helps its inhabitants to do the same.
Whether you are a long-time resident of The Hague or a newcomer to the city, Pandora is a place where you can find a sense of belonging and connect with others through the arts.

The Azalaïs Quartet is a strong unity with common feelings of music-making but with flexible thoughts, that is ready to create, combine, and exchange ideas. They offer in their concerts what they would like to receive as an audience.
The quartet started their adventure in 2018 when four musicians encouraged by their passion for chamber music started playing together at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
They adopted their name after Azalaïs de Porcairagues, one of the first female troubadours that composed during the late twelfth century.
Their varied musical interests range from early music to contemporary pieces: from rediscovering works from the dawn of the string quartet repertoire to working hand in hand with young composers in the creation of new pieces. In their concerts, they always combine well-known music with not so famous music, but with the same quality.
They receive regular coaching from Janet Krause and, during the last year, from Cuarteto Casals. They have attended masterclasses with professors such as Hatto Beyerle, Patrick Jüdt, Stephan Picard, Eberhard Feltz, Jon Thorne, Eva Stegeman, and Jan Ype Nota.
They have performed in the Kleine Zaal of Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Nieuwe Kerk (Den Haag), TivoliVredenburg, (Utrecht), HARMOS Festival (Portugal), and Olivar de Castillejo Foundation (Madrid), among other venues.
The quartet is currently part of the Le Dimore del Quartetto network, providing concerts and residencies in European historical patrimony.
They are kindly supported by the dutch foundation "Stichting Young Notables".
